The first level
is the opening of our breathing. As we breathe through our mouth, our respiratory system is accessed from our lower abdomen through the area of the solar plexus, all the way up to our upper chest. By connecting these areas you will be able to receive the optimal amount of oxygen. Within minutes the cells will be super-oxygenated and old deep based toxins can begin to leave the body system. The new energy in the body will activate all organs and tissue, allowing the release of all natural chemical substances to take care of it’s innate healing and vitality. You will experience more energy and comfort as the body is balanced and at peace. You now have happy cells that radiate a happy ‘emotion’ as they are like babies receiving what they need – Oxygen! You will feel a ‘baby-Smile’ rising up from inside of you.
By breathing into the closed breathing patterns, oxygen and life-force will be brought to the cells in those areas. Physical complaints such as indigestion and lower back pain can be healed quickly through the use of the lower abdomen and the diaphragmatic muscle.
The second level
of attention in this modality is with the clearance of negative thoughts, suppressed emotions and trauma’s like birth trauma, early childhood trauma and even past life traumas in our subconscious mind. Every behavior and action comes from an emotion or belief. If we want to change our behavior, a change is needed first on the emotional/mental level. By connecting our in-breath with our out-breath we create a closed energetic circuit. The high vibration frequency of the oxygen in our breath is now able to change and entrain our own electromagnetic field in our body to the high frequency of the oxygen molecule. Through the awareness of connecting the breath a more scientific and metaphysical part of the breath is introduced, the “physical law of entrainment”. This law states that a lower vibrational energy will permanently be raised when it comes in contact with a higher vibrational energy. Within the breathing this means that this high vibration will permanently raise the lower vibration within our cell memory and subconscious mind, these being the negative thoughts, and suppressed emotions and traumas. So with our breath we are able to connect and enlighten all the dark places that have been stored throughout our past experience. When these blocked energies are raised and breathed through we simply won’t be negatively affected by them any more.
Breath analysis
The way we think and feel from a subconscious level is reflected in the way we breathe, simply said “The way we breathe is the way we live”. Everybody has a unique way of breathing. There are groups of breathing patterns, but in the end everybody has their unique breath in different situations like fingerprints. When we experience a strong feeling we feel uncomfortable with ourselves and in that moment we all tend to hold our breath to stop the feeling or to not lose control to the feeling. We have been trained to behave, to be silent or other pressurized responses. For the most of us, a feeling is not an easy thing to surrender too. Strangely enough breathing using the diaphragm would have been the answer to the unpleasant experience, as the E-motion (Energy in motion) would have been integrated throughout the whole body and would have been expressed and released from the body. When we hold our breath, we literally suppress it into our cells, which can lead to illness and other physical complaints. As we keep holding our breath through the years the negative suppressed energy builds up and is stored in specific places, where we eventually will stop breathing as we don’t want to feel or lose control. In the end we have lost our natural way of breathing and so we have lost our natural way to live life. Breathing into our old pattern to reclaim our natural breathing again is the key to be healthy, happy and aligned with your self and your life.
The good part of the synergy between the subconscious and the breathing patterns is that it works both ways. When we change the way we breathe we also change the way we think and feel and this is one of the most powerful life altering gifts that you can get in touch with. When we can breathe in more, we can receive more of the good in life. When we can let go of our exhale easily, quick and relax, we can let go of those things that are already in the past, that are not supporting us anymore or that are negative to us. The more we open, and relax our breathing pattern, the more the breath will give us, guide us and develop us to our highest expression and good.
Third Level
The spiritual level. In the East the power of conscious breathing has been used as a vehicle for spiritual enlightenment for many centuries. Only recently the West has shown interest and research in the mind-body breath connection and developed Breath modalities. Within an IB session we will travel through the physical, emotional and mental parts in our consciousness and will create a state of no conflict were we are able to surrender and be fulfilled through our higher self, our God-consciousness. Divine information in the life-force all around and within will entrain our consciousness to higher forms of awareness and ground them in our daily life. You will receive guidance and clarity from within. Your truth is already within you and without the distortions in the lower subconscious mind. Your I AM-ness will be expressed naturally and freely.
